Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) announced today the selection of Mr. Tom Gallagher as Director of Engineering & Readiness. Mr. Gallagher is responsible for leading the development of strategic solutions associated with engineering and technical activities at S&A. He provides expertise and leadership across multiple technical disciplines and provides mission systems engineering and integration solutions to support customers.
Before joining S&A, Mr. Gallagher retired from 35 years of civil service. He worked as Deputy Director for the Chief of Naval Operations where he was the Senior civilian responsible for the operations, maintenance, and modernization portfolio for Surface Warfare and developing the DDG Modernization 2.0 budget and execution strategy. Mr. Gallagher also worked as Deputy Director for NAVSEA’s Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) where he was responsible for the life cycle maintenance planning activity for all surface ships. Mr. Gallagher has extensive experience in support of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), specifically the Surface Warfare Directorate N96, Fleet Readiness N83 and supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). Mr. Gallagher attended the State University of New York where he earned a BA in Marine Engineering and the US Naval War College for Strategic Studies.
